CERTIFY will be able to provide young people with easier access to a job market that inhibits their ability of applying to jobs because of the experience requirement. By experience-based learning in modules designed by the industry, we hope to revolutionize the job market in Sweden by introducing an easy, free way to gain experience and to get that experience certified. Our advantage lies in working closely with the industries to design the learning programs.
How did you get your idea/where did you get the inspiration?
We have realized that there may be a lot of hurdles for young people to get into the job market. Especially because there usually is a requirement for experience – even for entry-level jobs. We wanted to remove that hurdle by allowing users to be taught in learning modules that are designed by the industry, and in some way get that experience certified by us and the industry, giving them an advantage when applying to a job.
What do you think the labor market will look like in the future?
Digitalization will form the labor market and employees will need to have digital skills and working experience to respond to employers' needs but also to function well in the society.
